Christmas Gift Program

Each year we celebrate Christmas by gathering together a mountain of toys and clothes and wrapping them all at the Civic Center!
|

|
|
In 2004 we started the Christmas Gift Program to support the families that we had helped over the calendar year to celebrate Christmas, and to make the holiday season a little easier (and brighter) for them.
|
|
|
|
Each year we gather information from the families about the wish lists from ALL of their children. Then we work in conjunction with the Shelton Fire Department and the Giving Tree (inside of Wal-Mart) to gather up gifts!

|
Next, we take all of the gifts to the Shelton Civic Center and wrap them! We are lucky to have extra volunteers on wrapping day! Then families can either meet us there to pick up their goodies, or we play Santa Claus and deliver them! It is a great day for everyone!
