Childcare, Dinner, and a Movie:
|
|
This is a program that is almost entirely
sponsored with Simpson Timber funding, and donations from Shelton Cinemas.
The program is centered around our families that we support throughout the
year.

We select families from a lottery like system, and then one of our
volunteers calls them to see if they are interested. We provide movie tickets,
a gift certificate for a restaurant of their choice, funds for tips and gas money,
and finally we reimburse the family for costs incurred for childcare
(we do not directly provide childcare).

Christmas Gift:
|
|
In this program, we try to match a family that we have helped during
the calendar year with another family that would like to adopt them. With the help of
local businesses, Toys for Kids Plus, and awesome community members, we typically help
80+ children have a great Christmas!
